Sister and brother, cellist Seeli Toivio and pianist Kalle Toivio just started their concert tour in USA. This week they perform in Chicago:
October 3rd, Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concerts at the Preston Bradley Hall.
This concert was a true success! After finishing the Wieniawski Scherzo-Tarantella the siblings got a standing ovation from a full house audience! The concert was broacasted LIVE and can be heard on the internet. Information on that soon.
October 6th and 7th, private events.
October 7th, Wilmette Library Hall, at 2 pm. Duo will perform beautifull works by Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Kritz, Wieniawski, Liszt, and Fagerlund.
Next week’s Thursday will see the duo at the Carnegie Hall, where they have their grand Carnegie debut on October 11th at 8pm. Information on Chicago concerts and the Carnegie Hall debut coming up soon!
