Lapland has many beautiful places to perform concerts. Easter time is very popular for the Fins to travel to the North for a skiing (downhill and cross-country) vacation: in the evenings, many concert-goers enjoy various artists at Chapels, Churches, Nature Centers, and of course Concert Halls. This Spring, Seeli has organized a tour including concerts at various Cultural Centers:
Kellokas Auditorium at Ylläs-Äkäslompolo, March 26 at 7 pm
Naava Cultural Center at Pyhä-Luosto, March 28 at 7 pm
Fell Lapland Nature Center at Enontekiö (Hetta), April 2 at 7 pm
Pallastunturi Visitor Center at Pallastunturi, April 4 at 7 pm
Kilpisjärvi Visitor Center, April 5 at 7 pm
Seeli also performs at many nice chapels, glorious concert halls, and interesting churches:
Korundi Concert Hall at Rovaniemi, March 24 at 3 pm
St. Lawrence Chapel at Ylläs-Äkäslompolo, March 27 at 8 pm
Salla Church at Salla, March 30 at 6 pm
Ivalo Church at Ivalo, March 31 at 7 pm
St. Paul’s Chapel at Saariselkä, March 29 at 6:30 pm, and April 1 at 7 pm
Borealis Chapel at Pyhätunturi, April 3 at 7 pm
Seeli says: ”About 10 years ago, when I was traveling just as a tourist in Lapland, I always dreamed about performing there. I was wondering how I could make those dreams possible. Since 2009, I have toured each year in Lapland, and hope to continue this tradition. I just wish I could sometimes have time to hike and ski in the wilderness between the concerts!”
