String Quartet. There are plenty of them. Most string instrumentalists perform in a string quartet in some point of their lives. Some play chamber music only in a string quartet, some also in other various chamber groups. Seeli has never been a regular member in a string quartet. She is regularly performing in other kinds of chamber groups though: in different formations with harpist, saxophonist, pianists, kantele player, etc.
Seeli is interested in challenging programmes for string quartet. More news about her new quartet will be posted here, as well as on her Concert Office Facebook Page. The new quartet will have concerts with other instrumentalists as well: eg. piano quintet with the Russian pianist Kiril Kozlovsky, and also Seeli’s brother Kalle Toivio.
